pvc

i have a 2001 ls1 engine my question is what if i delete the pvc and put a cap on the tb where it was connected and put a little filter on the end of the hose the pvc was in will it hurt anything? i did this to my lt1 and also how many pvc valves are on my car is it just the one by the throttle body on the passenger side? thanks kenny

He wants to do this so no oil will get into the intake and make the car run like crap and ping like mine does. However I've heard deleting the pcv is a bad idea because then your oil will go bad really fast.

i got a little backwards on the spelling hehe i want to do this so it doesnt consume oil as much and doesnt go into my intake plus i used the vacum line off the intake where the pcv was hooked in for my fuel pressure regulator. so is that the only sideeffect my oil going bad faster if so i will continue to do what i was doing deleting it. but is that the only pcv on it by the throttle body passenger side thanks guys
