Pulling Codes.

I did a search and came up empty. How do I pull codes on a 01 LS1?

Thanks.

Re: Pulling Codes.

Take it to autozone, they can scan it for free. Or find someone locally that has hp tuners in your year.

Re: Pulling Codes.

There's no way to pull the code myself? In my Neon I turn the key on-off-on-off-on and it displays the CEL. I thought there was a way to do that, I didn't think I had to scan it.

Thanks.

Re: Pulling Codes.

Yes you do have to scan it. To reset it disconnect your battery for 5 or 30 minutes to reset the ses light.

Alright then, I'll try to scan it at work soon.

Thanks again.

Re: Pulling Codes.

Is there a list somewhere where I can see all the codes and what they are?

Re: Pulling Codes.

You can look them up individually at www.obdii.com or post/search for it here on the site. There are many, many, many possible codes.

Re: Pulling Codes.

or you can go to www.gearchatter.com

you might have to register to see the codes. They give very good description of how to diagnosis it and fix it.
