I have a 98 Z28 and i want to get new pulleys. Which set of pulleys should i get the Auto Specialties or the March?

And i assume i would need new belts.

 

March, it has a dampener on it...And yes, you will need new belts..They should give a P# for the one(s) you need...I'd look into the ALT pulley also..It will correct the RPM differences with the ALT so you will charge the same at idle..

 

I've got the ASP and haven't had any problems. It's also what 90% of the other guys in the local group have. Good stuff

 

I had asp underdrive bolt on and overdrive alt on my 97 ta a few years ago.It worked ok but that car was m6 .I also thought it added some harshness .
This time I went for asp underdrive balancer slightly less underdrive than the bolt on ones. So think it should be fine in my auto but if not then also have the overdrive alt pulley .I got my set used. They are very very hard to find in stock usually. I waited a long time. Also its debatable whether the pulleys do much on the lt1 as not as much is driven off them. But will see how they work in a few days when get them installed.
