Which Pulley Is This?(Pic)
Which Pulley Is This?(Pic)
Best I can tell this pulley is very wobbly at idle, but when given some gas it tends to straighten itself out. I'm not sure if it is just loose, or maybe a bad bearing. I want to know which pulley it is so I can possibly order one, because it looks like I'll be able to get to it pretty easily if I get the car on jack stands. It is the very large one on the bottom:

that looks like the crank pulley, if that black is pavement below it. If its wobbly you should definately have it fixed, it doesnt really matter what pulley it is, if it wobbles, fix it.

And yes, that is the pavement directly below.

Here is a quick video I made: Taken at idle, under the car
It sounds like complete poo. It is pretty loud too. You can hear it in the car with the windows up.

What is your oil pressure? Any knocking sounds when you rev it?
BTW it's not a good idea to mess with the crank bolt, it's a stretch bolt and will never be in spec again if it's tightened or loosened. And it's quite unlikely that it would back out on its own.

Re: Which Pulley Is This?(Pic)
The crank bolt was fine, I wiggled it with my fingers and it was not loose or anything, so I don't believe that is still the problem. It still seems like that pulley is kinda wobbly though. Is it possible it could wobble at idle and then as it gains speed straighten out?
Re: Which Pulley Is This?(Pic)
that pulley seems to me like it was pressed on not-straight, but during higher rpm,s it seems to straighten up, i would say replace the pulley, but while you got the pulley out, check for crank end-play.
Re: Which Pulley Is This?(Pic)
Kinda what it looked like to me as well, just trying to get some other opinions though. If it is the problem, I'm not sure I'd be able to get at it myself.
