...I dropped the tranny and I couldn't help notice what kind of gians I would see...thanks

No flywheel in an A4, just a flex plate. It would shave a few pounds, and your motor would rev a little faster. I wasn't under the impression that they made aluminum flex plates, but I'm on the M6 side, so I prolly wouldn't know.
