Procedure For LS1 Rocker Arm Install?
Procedure For LS1 Rocker Arm Install?
Does anyone know the procedure for installing stock rocker arms on an LS1? I thought that you just torque, rotate the motor a few times and then re-check. Now I am hearing that there is a recomended procedure to follow. Thanks

all i did was torque them down....roll the motor over a few times....recheck the torque and be done with it.
did it that way when i did my spring swap with stock rockers, and later when i installed my harland sharp rollers.

Do the Harland Sharp's fit under the stock V/C's or did you have to modify anything?
Re: Procedure For LS1 Rocker Arm Install?
they were the stock 1.7 ratio...not the 1.8s.
but yes they fit.
had to use a hand file to clearance a TINY bit of the inside egde of the cylinder head, where the valve cover seals to the head.
