Problems w/ new car...

This is my first post on this board, although i've been an invisible presence just reading the board for a few years.
I just bought a 2002 Z28 M6 with barely 10,000 miles on it. A few days after i got it, the dealership had to fix the carrier bearings because it was clunking going into gear. Thats fixed.
Now to the current issue...There is a power loss and now it feels like a V6. Other than just not having the power that it did a few days ago, everything seems fine. The only thing i've done to the car is disable that pesky skip shift "feature".
My question is, what could be causing this problem? And what should I do if the dealership says they cant find a problem? I really appreciate your opinions.
Thanks!

Question

You're not driving with ASR (traction control) on, and spinning the tires, therefore, having the computer "slow you down", are you??? Just a thought? Otherwise????????

No, it doesnt have ASR. Its just across the board weaker than it was just 2 days ago. Its going back to the dealership Wednesday, but i was just wondering if theres anything i should check first, or if anybodys heard of anything similar to this. I'm dying here!
Thanks though, any more suggestions?

How about bad gas. Did you fill up recently at a different station. maybe that station had water in its lines.
