I've been reading the board for a couple weeks now and finally decided to post up.
I'm about to buy a '98 Camaro Z28, with the RS body kit already installed with no other modifications. I've looked at it several times and cranked it and been taken for a test drive in it, everything sounds fine and looks great but I want to know if there are any problems these cars have that are not easily seen? It's going to be taken to my best friends shop on Monday and they are oing to test drive it and take a look and tell me if everything is good to go... Anything I should look for before then?

There is an issue with some aftermarket front facias, because they are too low and people remove the "air scoop" that directs air to the radiator for cooling. If that is missing, the car will overheat, even on the highway.

Check the back tires for tread.
