Pro 5.0 Shifter Problem

I just installed my Pro 5.0 in my 2001 SS. It shifts great, nice feel and nice short throws. However it is giving me a problem, when in neutral it is sticking to left side of transmission almost notchy. There is no problem on the right side returns fine. I had a hurst shifter on there before no problems. Is anyone else having this problem with their shifter if so what have you done to fix it?

Not that this helps, but no problems at all so far. Hope you get things solved.

Question

My Pro 5.0 returns fine. There is zero notchiness and great feel. This is my second "Power Tower" and I have nothing but praise for them. Hope you get your problems resolved.

Maybe you all just cant install them right Ive never seen or heard that problem before. And for 3 people in small group to have the same problem doesnt sound like the product is the problem

Mine is slightly Notchy, but It's a hell of a lot better than the stock shifter, and I would not trade it for the Hurst or any other.

Glad I own my Pro 5.0

Didn't get around to it today, and I have to work the next 2 days and will definitely not have time (12 hour shifts). Hopefully over the weekend.

the pro 5.0 came in the mail today.. and I have the same problem..... when the shifter returns from the right there are no problems.. but from the left, if you put the shifter left and let it go slowly, it will stop at a certaint point before returning all the way.... just a LITTLE preassure from that point will return it, but the fact that it's notchy there is not cool with me... anyone know a fix for this??
also, the two hex screws on the side of the tower, what are they for? adjusting them seemed to help the 'notching' from the left a little..... anyone pls post and help out.

I called Pro 5.0 They are sending me another unit to replace it. They want to inspect my shifter to see if it is defective.

My Hurst started doing that, but it was on my '97 LT1 for 35K miles. Now it's been on my '02 for 4K miles when it started sticking to the left. I took it off and took the shifter apart, cleaned and re-greased it, now she's good as new.

Seems strange you would have this problem on a brand new shifter! Maybe it's a defect in a batch they made. I have never heard any negative results from Hurst, Pro 5.0 or Ripper.
