Power Windw Replacement

OK I need to replace my driverside window. But will not pay the $375 I was quoted at the dealership. So i decided that I would do it myself. Can anybody tell what parts and tools I will need and how to do the job. In detail (i'm a newb). Thanks that would save me a ton. Anybody whos done it please help...

Wow, I am surprised no one has helped you yet. Well, anyway here is a link to shoebox tech page w/ very detail instructions..

http://csce.uark.edu/~jgbertr/rb/4th_gen_tech1.html

Also if you haven't bought the motor yet you can get it at autozone or gmpartsdirect.com

Good luck

i had to do my driver side motor too...very easy with the instructions

i recommend getting the autozone motor...it is faster than my GM-motored passenger window, and i have heard from many people that the 'zone motor will last longer too....anyway its only like $50

also, get one of those little angled mirrors on a stick (can find them at autozone, conveniently enough, for like $2). It helps a TON when looking for a one of the blind rivets to drill

very easy...$375 job my a$$

good luck
