With my sigs, I had a hard time keeping pace with this guy who claimed just that. He had a 01-02, couldn't tell, Z28 t-top.

Absolutely.

I did approximately that in my '98. Now, I'm not saying I always ran 12 second ETs...the weather and launches varied..there were some 13.0s and a few 13.1s..but I could turn 12.8-12.9 on street tires pretty reliably. And trap speeds were always 109-111 mph. With drag radials, I ran a pair of 12.6s.

How well do you row the gears?

Very possible with good weather and a sweet 60' time. I ran a 12.69@111 with a lid and dump only....paper filter too! my 60' on that run was a 2.007 on the stock F1's. I backed it up with a couple of 12.7's that night.

speed/power shifting doesn't mean you don't use the clutch.

It means not lifting the throttle when you shift.

I ran a 12.90@110 with just a slp dual/dual catback. This was on street tires in the heat. Car only had 1500 miles also. You just need to learn how to row the gears. The more expirienced driver will usaully out run the mods.

I ran the time in sig w/ only a lid. I don't know how much the extra weight in your convertible will slow you, but it should be easy in a hardtop.

My 02 ran 13.00 at 108 and its a auto with 2.73 gears 2.0 60ft. If I get a tenth at 60ft. 12.90 is realistic. my mph shows 12's.

Cool

With Nittos, a lid, and a catback I ran 12.585 @ 111.60. It's totally doable with the right car and driver...
