You guys think that helps at all?

 

Do you consider 1 HP worth it for the smooth bellow. The throttle body is not necessary unless your making over 500 HP.

 

i doubt the bellows is even gonna get you that much.

it's 99.9% visual mod

the ported TB...by looking at the unit, and doing the machine work myself. i can tell you that there should definatly be a difference in part throttle response.
the first 5-10% of throttle opening, there is a significant increase in the air that can flow into the TB after porting.

but once you exceed that first few percent it is only gaining from the widening of the cross section of the TB. which is only about 2mm in added diameter.

so WOT gains are minimum, but i think around town it would improve response.

i know a machinist who will port a TB for $50, only problem is he doesn't have units as core...so you're car will be TB-less for the time it takes to machine it.

 

TB- Yes (avg at least 5RWHP)
Bellows- just for looks

 

On a cammed car the ported tb is easily worth 5-7 hp.
