Jeg's is probably selling it for that price because it is coated. I got mine from Tbyrne for $170. Call them up, they have great service and prices.

The Hooker Y-pipe is $159 shipped from Jegs or Summit. The reason Jet-Hot's is so much more is because they coat it just like they Coat the header. You can get a coated header from Hooker, but the coating is not very good and is not inside out. Jet-Hot gives a lifetime warrantee and is coated inside and outside the tubes.
You can also get the Hookers uncoated if you so choose for $399 shipped from Jegs. IMO coating is overrated, I'll be getting these.

Yep, JETHOT got back to me and the Hooker y-pipe they sell is coated that's why it's more.

Now, I have an 2002 Camaro so I have no EGR correct. What connections do I need? Just AIR and 02's ? And then you use sims on the rear 02's?

Exclamation

You will need to modify your air tubes or use '98-'99 air tubes. Most online vendors have these kits, as well as an EGR block off (since '01-'02 don't have EGR).

Thumbs up

My vote is for the hookers. Cheap, easy to install, they work!
