hey guys.. i was lookin around on ebay.. and remember someone asking about polishing a LS1 manifold... this is a weiand-holly intake... here's the link.. just thought i'd post this for anyone who's interested.

I would spend my money on other go fast parts it does look pretty!!!!!!!!!!!

I checked it out, and the guys said the cost of the manifold new was $819. what the f....

I thought the manifold was like $550.

 

The polished version of that intake is bank, but I wouldn't spend the money on it for 2 reasons. First the new LSX intake is coming out soon that will produce more hp & secondly that intake is aluminum which is a no no due to the heat soak.

aluminum intake... a no no?? I don't think so. 3/4 of aftermarket intake manifolds are aluminum. Just because our cars come with with a nylon polymer plastic, doesn't mean its a Bad choice.

 

LSX intake from F.A.S.T. and offered directly through Comp Cams as well.

Look for it in mid-October.
