NGK TR55 is between one range colder and stock. TR6 is a full range colder good for nitrous/power adder use.

What is your want for a colder plug?

Yes the TR55 are not platinum. I've seen them last a long time, then I've seen them get fouled in 500 miles. It really has to do with your tune and how dialed in it is. Also stop and go driving is the detriment of any plug as they load up with carbon, etc.

I've used Bosch single plats on different vehicles, never had any issues. Both on my SS and on the Z, I replaced the factory ACs with Bosch plugs and got and improvement on both cars, a big one on the SS. Any personal experience or credible source you can reference for warning against the use of Bosch plugs?

It was actually easier than on an 89 Formula 350 I used to have. #8 is the hardest, read this thread on an easier way I used to get it this go around:

NGKs go in all my performance vehicles. I am currently using TR6s in my Z28 gapped at .038 for the nitrous.
