I have been shifting at over 6400 rpms drag racing regularly for 3 years now since I went Heads/Cam. Totally stock bottom end.

Just out of curiousity, what RPM does the T-Rex cam build power to? I would think somewhere over 7k with the cam's specs.

you DO realize that the stock rev limiter is almost 6200 in the ls1 ...right?
6500 is no big deal.... over that...well i think you're buying your time till a failure of some kind.
