Question Pacesetter LS1 headers. Smog or Race?

I was checking out Pacesetter longtube headers at texas-speed.com, and noticed that they had headers w/smog and race headers without smog. What is the difference between the smog headers and race headers? They are both the same price.

the race headers are intended for off-road use, because they do not have the "AIR" fittings on them. You are very likely to not pass inspection with those.

Th other ones have provisions for the emissions stuff so you can still be legal

Although, I just ordered mine, I went with the off-road ones

Im just gonna have to deal with it somehow when inspection time comes around.

i say get the emissions equipped ones and just block the fittings off...that way if you have to get checked out in the future...you have the option.

right so there are none that don't move the cats are there? I'm looking for an LS1 and want longtubes, but my better judgement tells me there is no way of having them and not passing. Michigan is no considering teting again and I don't want he hasle of not passing.
