Quick question, what about the holes and stuff for the O2 sensors and AIR stuff. I heard they're on the wrong side but how have the quality been with the new batch. Oh I forgot if they make the headers so you have to take out the AIR?

I just bought some pacesetters my self and i got some mixed feed back. That you get what you pay for and there cheap etc.
I had to paint mine with heat treated paint the ones that i bought did not come heat treated andI had to buy the hooker y-pipe because they were all sold out of the pace y-pipe.What kind of problems did you guies have installing them if any, and do they really work.

I thought the hooker Y won't fit the pacesetters.

Where did you get your headers from?

As for you get what you pay for, I think you will be very pleased with the Pacesetter LT headers. We've consistently seen 20-25RW from the headers.

As for the the O2 sensor holes, that was pretty much just the first batch of headers Pacesetter sent out. From what I've seen, the y-pipe isn't too restrictive from the gains I've seen/read.

By the way, we should have our next order about the middle of January!

Thanks!

Brian

Did you have to do any modifying to get it to fit or was it just straight bolt-up?

I ordered my pacesetters about 2 1/2 weeks ago and just got them installed about 3 or 4 days ago. The install was pretty straight forward, the only thing that I didn't like was that I had to grind a little bit because the drivers side header was hitting the k-member. Besides that these headers looked great and fit like a glove. The Y-pipe is crimped as some have already mentioned, but only about a foot or so long in a spot or two, if it wasn't crimped then it would be very difficult, if not impossible to get the thing to fit onto the collectors. I just intalled the Y-pipe and then went to my exhaust man and had him to bend the pipe just a bit more now it has about 2 inches of clearence before it actually hits the bottom of the car. Overall I would recommend these headers to anybody that is on a budget and wants great performance gains and sound from there LS1.
