ordered loudmouth today

i ordered my LM today but have a couple of questions. i'm replacing the flowmaster, just muffler not catback. will the LM system give a sotp feeling. i know the flowmaster flows for crap but it sounded ok. i know i will like the loud mouths sound. also will the LM make all the mustangs in town sound like crap.

I'm thinking the lm catback over the flowmaster muffler will give you a gain, should be noticeable. As for makeing mustangs sound like crap, I don't know about that. I'm in no way a fan of mustangs, but they sure sound great when you put a cat back or headers on them. Don't know why, but they just sound awsome.

ummmm....you cant just replace the muffler with a loudmouth kit.

There are 3 main parts to the loudmouth kit:
--intermediate pipe
--over the axle pipe
--after the axle tailpipe

plus clamps and tips.

The loudmouth "muffler" aka resonator is part of the intermediate pipe and cant really be mounted seperatley without cutting the intermediate pipe.

Maybe im just confused by your post.

Oh......the loudmouth is quite loud!

replaced my flowmaster catback with a loudmouth last weekend. Didn't seem to notice any performance gain, minimal if anything. Definetely louder, only real downfall that i could see is the drone inside the car when engine is loaded down. But worth it for me.

Flowmasters should never touch a camaro, besides if you get loudmouth it has no muffler just a resonator. Mustangs sound great with em. If you could get the mustang sound in a camaro, itd be even sweeter.

There is a guy rolling around here..and i swear..his TA sounds exactly like a mustang..when i'm sittin in my garage workin on my dirtbike playing "guess that car" everytime i hear him..i swear its a 5.0...but..its a new TA...sounds identical..I think mustangs do sound good..but they have more of "tuned" exhaust sound to em..Camaro's have more of a "raw" old time muscle car sound to em...which i love!

i totally with stangs sounding nice. and i usually ask most of them what exhaust they got and they say flowmaster and it does sound nice. but since im a cop in the air force im always in the front checkin id and run into all the cars coming through but after awhile mustangs get annoying cuz they all sound the same. but loudmouth is bad ***. the tsp catback a.k.a. the rumbler is supposed to be better than loudmouth.
