I have heard the loudmouth before and it sounded good, but it had a little too much rasp. But I heard the loundmouth 2 is suppose to be better because of the muffler. I dnt plan to put headers on my car so would the loudmouth 2 be a good choice. And also does anyone know the speaker sizes in a Monsoon Setup in an 02 SS.

 

Loudmouth with a different Ypipe doesnt have as much rasp. and yes the loudmouth 2 is basically the same thing as the dynomouth setup...it will be quieter

 

02 SS Monsoon =

Front- O.S. 6.5"
Sail Panel- O.S. 6.5"
Rear- 4"

 

So the front speakers are 6.5", the sides are 4", and 6.5" in the hatch.

 

no, the 4" are in the rear hatch. everything else is 6.5".

and if i remember correctly, the front doors are 2-way with separate inputs to the small tweet in the middle and the 6.5" cone.

the back seat 6.5" are one-way "subwoofers" (right!). the monsoon amp has some sort of crossover that sends only low frequencies to these speaks.
