just need some opinions on best underdrive pulley kit for ls1 before i buy mine. if anybody has hp gains from this mod, please post them.

 

as far as i know there is only one that is actually designed for the ls1, it's made by ASP.

i remember speed inc did a dyno run with it on a project car and got 8hp from it.

i think it's a worth while mod if you have the money for it.

ASP has proven to be a good choice for ls1s.

 

The ASP is pretty much a guaranteed 8 horsepower. I'm waiting on the SLP one that is coming out in January. It has a guard around the outside so you dont throw the serpentine belt.

 

SLP screwed up on their first attempt at making pullies.ive had no belt problems with mine and its been on almost two years.

 

asp has been the best pulley since 1993 w/ the LT1..

 

so slp is bringing one out on january??????
