Hey Im building a ls1 for my 96 TA Im looking for atleast a 9 sec pass so do you all think this combo should get me there. Iron block 408 forged bottom end ET 240 heads solid roller victor jr intake with either a carb or elbow to run a 90 mm throttle body and a 300+ shot of nitrous. thanks Joe

You'll definitely have the MPH for it. It all depends on how you hook up and how your suspension is dialed in.

Actually, you'll probably only need a 100 shot at the absolute most to run a 9 with that kind of setup.

Similar combos with a car that's setup correctly would likely go bottom 9s or even high 8s just around 150MPH. If you want a 9 second car, that engine alone should do it!

 

Thanks for the replies if I go faster thats great the cage will be good for it and I plan on installing a halon system in the car also.
