one on the left?

I just got my new to me ss a couple weeks ago, and it has only one pipe on the left. I have heard of 2otL and I remember along time ago seeing a 1 on the left from flowmaster back when I had my lt1. Does anyone know about this cat back? Is it any good? It sounds good,,louder than stock with a nice grumble, but a little too quiet for me. someone please educate me.

its new to me 98 ss,, my first ls1 I love it. It seems to have all the free mods !screen,, cut lid etc, etc. I think it has shorty headers but I'm not sure (they look more like headers than my buddies stock 2000 z28).

Maybe it's a mufflex, my brother had the 4" mufflex on his car.

Are you asking about the 2otl? Its supposidly a flowing stainless steel good catback. Its drawback is its quiet, and only one sided...

Actually, I'm kinda interested for one to replace my Loudmouth + bullet muffler.....

don't know what exhaust you have but am going to give you help on the headers. Stock LS-1's came with headers from the factory, but next year went to manifolds, which I believe I have heard actually flow better then the factory shorty headers. Good luck with finding out about exhaust. Probably an SLP exhaust.

The 3 1/2" single outlet is the stock exhaust for all 98 SSs and the "shorties" are factory tubular exhaust manifolds which were stock on all 98 and 99 LS1 f-bodies.
So exhaust wise yours is all stock.
