oil pressure question?!?!

I'm looking at buying a 98 z28 auto camaro with 135,xxx miles on it, bone stock. the car looks like it has been kept up with and in really good shape for the age. the only thing i noticed is when i started up the car, at idle the oil pressure was somewhere around 40-50 psi, which seems ok, but the needle was flickering back and forth semi fast between about 40 and 50 psi, it wasnt a smooth sweeping back and forth but more of a flickering, any idea what that would be, and is it something i should be concerned about. thanx for any help guys!

Replace the oil pressure sending unit, which is located at the top rear of the block behind the intake manifold.
