I've found that with GM Parts Direct, the more you order, the less the impact shipping has on the final price. So whenever I am in need of GM parts, I make a "shopping list" of things I need/want. Even if you buy a few cheap things, it makes a big difference.

The most expensive part about their shipping is the initial $11 hit that they give to every order, sort of like Summit Racing.

I say this because I got a price quote for things I needed for my cam swap from Jason, and I already had my list made up on GMPartsDirect to compare to. GMPD was cheaper by almost $75 if I remember correctly.
