I have 4 Vette service manuals at the house, but if you think I'm typing up 4 pages of instructions... well...

I think the torque specs are 18 lbs-ft. Lemme see what I can do when I get home today at 7pm CST.

Except for the 2 long rearmost bolts which are less. As far as alignment goes I just used a straight edge to make sure it was flush to the back of the block.

What the hell are you talking about?

I have bigger problems now, I broke a bolt off in the end of the crank, had to take the whole engine to an EDM place to get it removed. I'll pick it up tomorrow, and see what I've got.

Its really not as "critical" as you think.......just check it good and get the propper tq. Its no big deal to get upset and start breaking bolts over
