Oil light poll

HOw many miles until it goes off for you. I have 4500-4800 like clock work. I have a 2001 Z28 with 40000 miles.

Never really paid any attention to it...

It has come on a few times. I usually try to get it changed before it comes on, though.

2500-3300 mi for mine,although it's a daily driver,about 7-9 mi to work each way,& in traffic.I gotta take it out on the interstate every once in a while just to blow all the crap out of it while watching for state troopers

I don't know whn it comes on I change it that weekend so I don't rea;;y pay attention to the mileage. Maybe I should check that.

I change the oil at 3000 and reset the light so it's never came on for me.

My oil light never comes on 'til about every ~5000 miles or so. I've been changing the oil every 3000 though for warranty purposes.

I don't change my oil until the light comes on at about 4000-4200 miles.
