Oil Filter

I use the AC PF44 and no one around here is stocking it anymore. Has it been superseeded, or do I just need to order a case of them?

Thats the same thing that happend to the LT1 PF25 oil filter, discontinued. I would use another quality brand like Mobil 1.

That's what I figured. There was another filter that fit, though it was bigger. Anyone? AC only... If not, I will probably go Mobil 1 filter too..

I had the same problem today, I thought they just were out of PF44 filters.

Why did they change the model #? Just to F--k with us? Or did they make some changes to the filter?

I got the PF46, that is the one. I'm going to email AC Delco and fine out why the model # changed, does anyone else know why they would do this?

This is what AC Delco just emailed me:

With regards to your inquiry about ACDelco oil filter, PF44 has been superseded to PF46. We are unable to locate difference between the two in our records. Please contact an ACDelco Retailer, Service Center or a GM Dealer in your area for information, as they may be in a position to assist you.
