Thumbs up new best on Sat.!!!!!

Well, I dicided that I would go to the the Ecklers Corvette Challenge. Me being the racer that i am wasnt going to run the car, well that was till i got there and saw all of those cars there. The track was super sticky. VHT was 1000 feet down the track, so if you didnt hook today, you will never hook. Man was it nice. Pulled a personal best too, twice in a row. The other runs were all 13.2 @ 105 w/ 1.98-1.99 60's.
First run was....
1500 RPM launch
1.997 60'
5.654 330'
8.574 1/8
84.62 MPH
11.102 1000
13.239 1/4
105.07 MPH
Not too bad huh

Best run...
1800 RPM launch
.050 r/t
1.986 60'
5.606 330'
8.505 1/8
85.30 MPH
11.016 1000'
13.140 1/4
105.59 MPH

ok you might think that it was a freak run well i ran the next time and it was a 1.992 60' . . . 13.146 @ 105.22. So i backed it up.
I have to say, some people underestimate the F-Body. I raced a few of the vettes...2-C4 vettes one on N2O and smoked both of them, a 98 C5 he was running 13.6 and a supercharged C5 and beat him by .2 tenths. He didnt know how to drive.

Good times and a at beating two vettes! Good job. I'm suprised your able to get a A4 to launch at 1800 on a stock converter. My 94 Z would only allow me to brake foot it up to 1500 on the stock converter. Must be that LS1 Power, lol

thank you all... I still need to launch higher, i can get it to about 1900... that should net me low 1.9's it still has about 2 tenths left in it... it will go 12.9 as it sets. I just need a good track and good weather. Those runs were in the florida humidity and about 85 degrees out

Very nice. I love schooling the vette guys. Especialy when I beat them at the tree, and all they could do is watch my tail lights. Icing on the cake is telling them the car is stock. Tracks are closed here. No more fun untill April.

Good numbers start to finish.

Thumbs up

Congrats!

I have a lid and a cutout. I don't think the FRA and bellows are helping that much in the 1/4, so..., I can't wait to get to the track one of these days...

Maybe I'll get similar numbers, too... Would be nice, at least. Never driven on the track, though, so it might take a little bit of practicing first...
