How come you use 6.5 quarts? The manual says to use 5.5. Too much oil can hurt the motor.

6.5 makes the dipstick read a little over full. The manual is conservative, and when I am driving hard a lot more of the oil from the motor is up in the heads and the lifter valley, and possibly away from the pickup in the pan. I autocross my car, so this adds a little peace of mind. Not to mention the low oil light comes on around 5 qts (for my car at least) She runs awesome, and about the only thing I might be worried about is a little extra parasitic loss at the crank, where a little more oil might be splashing around.
Ask around, a lot of the members use more oil than reccomended by the owners manual.

That's cool. I didn't know you autocross. I've gone to Road America in Wisconsin for the last few years ( http://www.roadamerica.com ). Although the car is not thrown around as much as AutoX, we usually add a little more oil too. Just for the event though.
