o2 simms install help

I got my o2 simms becasue I am tired of the SES light being on. I jacked the car up and unscrewed the rear sensor from the exhaust pipe but I don't how to get the sensor apart to plug in the simm. The simm seems like it should just plug into something but what? I'm sure it's not rocket science but I'm confused - any help on what or how to plug in these simms would be great!

Re: o2 simms install help

follow the sensor wire up about 8 or 10"...there is a plug.

unplug, plug in sim, ziptie out of the way.

the sensor itself stays screwed in.

Re: o2 simms install help

yep kinda neat little thing the four prong connector. have fun putting the driver's side on. put them on the wife's car. i have pics somewhere. you might have to lower the tranny lie i did so you can reach the plug that's secured to the tranny. pull the little blue retainer clip. then you can pull the connector apart. the passenger side is the easiest. it's attached to the tranny crossmember on the passenger side. then just leave the o2 in the pipe.

That makes so much more sense. Thanks for the posts and the pics. Looks like a tight squeeze but I'll get it.
