Question Not your normal Clutch Question

Uh hypothetically speaking If i were to want to "purposely" screw up the factory clutch in my 02 SS so that GM would have to replace it with the ZO6 clutch under warranty how would I go about that? Hypothetically speaking of course.

Why notjust post your intentions in a public forum for the whole world to see. Maybe you should have your local Chevy dealer read this post so when you show up there they can deny you warranty coverage.

Look, I'm really not the morals police, but why would anyone help you try and defraud your local dealer? Grow up. Oh, and this is a tech forum, not the "how to rip off your dealer" forum.

Wow, I'm surprised this didn't get locked immediately.

Didn't the '02 model come with the Z06 clutch already? I know my '01 came with the Z06 slave.

Well, pretty much no matter what you do, if you show up to the dealership with an 02 and a destroyed clutch, you'll be paying for it. They will not replace a clutch unless it's broken due to faulty equipment, not poor driving, etc.
But if you want to try anyway, put it in 6th, floor it, let the clutch out REALLY slow. Keep flooring it once it starts slipping. Push the brakes a little maybe. I bet you won't have a clutch in <2 minutes.
