Angry Not too happy with my new pacesetter headers

Got my pacesetters from summit today after a month of back order...correct part # for 98-99 fbod but they sent me a pass header with the egr and air flanges welded up wrong http://www.geocities.com/foff667/98Camaropg4.html so now i get to wait who knows how long to get a new one...hopefully the right one next time lol. Anybody have this happen to them with pacesetters?

I herd pacesetters stuff is JUNK... and that goes for ALL the header/y-pipe stuff they have.... lt1/ls1/imports.....

I have a friend with a '00 SS who has them and he said he liked them and gain 22 rwhp with them. Maybe I should wait and see how things pan out before I order mine

alot of ppl are quick to paste a link for pacesetters.. from what i read its because performance is about the same and they are alot cheaper. ive always been one of those quality over quanity kind of ppl and whenever i see a similar product for considerably less my first reaction is an inferior product or flaws.

i have no experience with pacesetters and only know what ive read and this is the first complaint ive seen about them..

anyways JetHots for me.

a little update on the pacesetter situation...i talked to john in their r&d dept and they are sending out a new pass side header hopefully with the right connections on it and it should be here next week i just have to send the old one back when ups arrives but it will be free of charge so that works out well. So far cust. service seems decent so we shall see...and for what its worth the headers look great
