Noises after FAST install...

Yep, a few more questions.

Had the car cranked last night, and drove a little today, after I worked out some tb cable issues.

Anyway, at idle, it seems the FAST intake is *noisier*. Anyone else notice this? I am hoping it just the drivetrain I am hearing. Is it b/c of the FAST design? I can just hear a repetitive noise that I can't pinpoint.

No SES, nothing out of the ordinary, just some odd noises.

Thanks for the input...

no help for ya on the noises but are you seeing any power gains? is it noticeable over your factory setup?

how did your install go? Smooth?

Well, I seen a very nice difference down low. I mean, it felt amazing! I haven't really went completely WOT yet, b/c I wanted the car to learn a little. I don't regret the buy at all. I would say it was worth it.

I mean, just a touch of the throttle, and it is GONE! The first time I barely touched the throttle, I got a Low Trac light hehe Turned that off!

As for the install...................

It wasn't too bad. I had a few things get a little crazy, but it really was simple. There is one issue I have w/ the TB and intake. They do not mate up well together. I had to dremel off a small piece of the intake, so the throttle bell would reach WOT. It was hitting the plastic on the side of the intake. It's the part that holds the throttle cable. Hard to explain. Not sure if anyone else had that issue.

Then, we had to bend the coolant line in the front for it to sit correctly. And we also had to dremel some of the intake right above the coolant line for it to seat well. So, I did have some issues, but it was in the quality, not the install.

I need to drive it a little more....

Which FAST intake did you go with and did you have it ported? I am having my 90mm intake ported right now.
