No signal from Camshaft Position Sensor.

I have acquired this Z06 as a bit of a project car. One of the issues with it was the car had been sitting and rats had gotten to the wiring harness. I had the shop that sold it to me on consignment replace the harness because I was too busy with another project. I have seen the car run before the harness was replaced. After the shop did the work and couldn't get the car to run they told me it was a bad fuel pump. I was now convinced this was a hack shop and towed the car home.

My diagnostic steps:

1.) Hooked up a laptop with HP tuners. Found that there was zero signal from the camshaft position sensor which was what I expected (that or crankshaft ps).

2.) Pulled intake manifold to make sure the shop actually plugged it in. It was plugged in.

3.) Made a mock set up to test the sensor. I was able to get a signal with the mock setup.

4.) Tested continuity between the sensor connector and the ecu connector. Continuity tested perfectly. Found the old connector gaskets still on the ecu, hoped with double gasket it was just not making good contact.

I have put the car back together and tested it out. Still no start. Is there anything I am missing here?

Sensor is good. Continuity is good through the wires. I find it hard to believe the the ecu has a bad input since I have seen the car run.

Any other ideas?

Is the PCM powering them?
On the "C" pin of both the Cam and Crank sensors there should be a 12v reference signal.

Yep, I was getting 12V at the connector.

I think I may be onto something with a missing ground. Here is the same thread I started at CorvetteForum.
