it just flashed me a ses code both left and right banks are running lean could that be because the cats could be pluged if so i think i will gut the cats but i havn't found a place were i could get 02 sims were can i get them and i need to know quick cuz i need them buy this weekend drags at ubly raceway

Just because the code is lean doesn't mean that it's plugged cats. Lean could mean that your fuel filter is plugged or that your fuel pump is going bad.
A simple fuel pressure test will make sure that your fuel pressure is ok. I wouldn't race without testing that first.

As far as the simms go, you can run without them. The check engine light will be on but it'll run fine.

i just had a fuel pressure check and he said everything is just fine but our fuel pumps run the same speed all the time right cuz he only checked it with the key on not at idle or a load. i'm gonna clean the maf tonight to see if maybe that is it and if not i don't know what to do any other suggestions

Less back pressure the better---dump those plugs---make sure your air filter is clean.
