Nittos or BFG DR

Hey guys I was looking at dr over at speed inc and don't know which brand to get both prices look good. Which do you prefer nittos or bfg comp ta drag radials. What would you suggest which ever I buy will be used one the street if called out they'll see mostly track life but a little bit of street life so which would have longer life for what i'm looking for? Most people have told me Nittos.

I dunno who told you Nittos but the BFG G-force DRss hook up so much better and they dont neeed to be warmed up. It could be 55 degrees outsided they hook up perfect. Nittos on the other hand you have to do a burnout with taking away from the already minimal tread life of Drag Radials. When I had the Nittos I was really dissapointed with them, but I got the BFGs I am really happy with.

he didnt say anythign about g-force drag radials...i think he was talking about nittos vs. regular BFGs not the new ones....in that case id have to go with nittos all the way...the older BFG drag radials dont hook nearly as well and have a miserable treadlife compared even to nittos.... and nittos dont really need to be heated up too much if u have the air pressure knocked down...i cruise with mine at about 25 psi instead of 32...ive heard good thigns about g-forces but defintely not the older BFG DRs.....

P.S. if u were talking about the g-force ones i apologize , disregard this whole thing lol....

Of course I was talkin about the G-Force. My sisters bf has the regular ones on his RX-7. Man those things are a joke. He claims theyre better than mine cause the G-force is supposedly for a front wheel drive car. Like a frikkin tire knows whether its on the front of the car. Put the G-Force where needed and it wont spin at all. These tires cant spin break torquing in reverse. I have never been more amazed with traction from a tire. Cant wait to see how they hold up after 9/17/03(See Sig).

Yeah I was jsut talking about bfg comp ta drag radials so the g -force would be better than the nittos for the track and minimal street use?

I have had both and since your mostly stock, Nittos will work best, especialyl since your pretty stock and will use themfor everyday driving.. On motor, i can dead hook on nittos so there is no reason to buy a tire a little stickier that cost more and wont last as long like the BFG. Nittos are cheaper, plus they last longer. BFGs do hook better, but nittos will get the job done for you....

front mounted dr's

saw black01_z's reply about the front wheel being better with drag radials. for your amusement, some salesman was bs'ing my wife trying to sell her a new ram air grand-am, saying "this car has so much power, it can lift the front wheels if you punch it right" he didnt know what to say when my wife told him it'd be a little hard since its front wheel drive. ever since then, im trying work my 4x4 blazer to lift all the wheels when i punch it.

front tires

wasnt rippin' on you black, just what you said that someone told you...." Man those things are a joke. He claims theyre better than mine cause the G-force is supposedly for a front wheel drive car. Like a frikkin tire knows whether its on the front of the car. " reminded me of something funny. sorry if you took offense to it.

oh ok. No I didnt take offense I was just confused. Yeah that would be my sister's bf who thinks my drag radials are for front wheel drive cars. He's an idiot. Even if he is right what difference does it make, my tires still hook like glue on my rear wheels.
