okay so my boyfriends gotta transam with racing headers,
obvoiusly off road y-pipe and borla cat back exhast.
i wanna get him something for his car because i know it would mean alot as his car is god to him.
any ideas on something useful?
please nothing to do with apperance, as we dont support ricers.
also, im not rich, $300 price max.

Hmm maybe a used ls6 intake, sounds like your bf has a pretty decent car.

 

Only thing really left is a lid, tune, or ls6 intake (bad idea for the money since you don't have any internal mods yet -- not going to make a TON of difference for $300+)

 

Get him a lid with new filter and a ported throttle body. Either that or a used LS6 intake. Maybe some weld in sub frame connectors and pan hard bar (suspension). GL!

 

sorry i wasnt too specific, he already has a tune, and a new lid and filter. Any other ideas? I'm considering the throttle body.

 

If you're looking for power, the LS6 intake is about the only other feasible option -- unless he's considering changing the exhaust (True Dual with X-pipe from www.texas-speed.com is the best exhaust for sound and power they make for LS1s) or getting some 1.8:1 roller rockers..... You sound like a really cool GF! Kudos to him!

 

Maybe save up some more and get 4.10's?
