just got some nittos so now that i have traction again after the TC what should i do next keep in mind i still have 2.73's so one option is to get some 3.73's i've started hearing people talk about how new rockers can be a big improvement on ls1's and i was also thinking about Pacesetter LT's what should i do open to anything from stroker kits to cams i just want to run anywhere from 12.5 to 11.9 for now
Are sfc's really neccessary on a hardtop car? I don't have any and I don't notice any ill effects from not having them. What should I look for to decide if I need them or not?
For your question about next mod maybe an ls6 or lsx intake depending on how much you wanna spend and a cutout or 2, before each cat if you still have them.
How do you like your converter and what stall did you get. Thats what I'm planning on for my first real mod.

F-body cars are made with a front subframe and a rear subframe. There is nothing but sheet metal joining the two subframes. This sheet metal is not very rigid and allows for alot of twisting or flexing between the two subframes. This creates squeeks, creaks, and rattles. It also affects ride quality and traction. Subframe connectors (SFC) do just what the name implies, they connect the two subframes making them into one large frame which will resist the torsional twisting caused by acceleration. This makes a noticeable difference in the ride, handling and, to a lessor degree, the traction of the vehicle. The more horsepower you have the more you need them. Under maximum acceleration the entire body of the car tries to twist to the right, the direction in which the engine is rotating. This torsional twisting unloads the traction of the left rear tire. The subframe connectors help traction by lessening the torsional forces acting on it. That isn't a good explanation but I hope you get the idea. SFCs are cheap and effective. They should be one of the first parts bought for your car even if it is the only modification done. Regardless of brand or style they all work exactly the same.
i agree with the SFC...they make a noticable difference in the handling characteristics of the car.
as for next power mod...you'll be hard pressed to hit low 12's NA without a decent set of headers, pacesetter being the inexpensive LT, mac midlenghts would be another option. is emissions an issue?
and also i think you'll really need some better gears...so it would be a 50:50 choice between gears and headers.
the LCA aren't a bad idea either to limit wheelhop

thnaks guys you've made start to leant to SFC's and some 3.73 i think they could both be done at the same price as the LT's only thing is mycar won't gain any hourses but who cares it's the times that matter not the ponys
and i got the super street fighter TC 3500 stall works great best mod i've done so far it's a must if you have an A4
