newbie LS1 question

I'm looking to buy a LS1 Z28 and had a question. I've read the forum (over and over again) and have found different answers. How fast can you get one to go and still be a daily driver (15 mile round trip to work M-F) if you had to? Not looking to add a blower or nitrous for now. Wanting a consistent bracket car that I could race on Saturday and drive during the week if I had to. Looking to do computer programming, headers, exhaust, TC, gears, suspension, ... and keep a lightweight set of wheels with sticky DOT tires in the garage to put on when needed. Can one go in the 11s easily and still be streetable? Thanks.

Yes.
It will all depend on how you set your car up.

Re: newbie LS1 question

With an A4, 11's can easily be attained with basically just a stall, traction and the usual bolt-ons. It'll still be plenty streetable too.
