I need some help buying a new tran's

I've been looking at the Pace Police 4L60E for $1740 and no core charge.

Has anyone bought one of these?


Aslo what would be other options?

I've in Hawaii and I'm trying to stay away form having to send my old one back.

you could check on the gm 4L65E and get it right through a gm dealer.

I haven't needed one yet so I have no first hand info for you and the last thing that I want to do is feed you some "I heards" and have you order one and get shafted. Then I'd feel like crap.

Ok, just looked on the Pace parts site.

They have the 4L65E for $2,179.80 without a core charge.

But it doesn't say if it's a direct bolton for f-bodies.
