New Source for Built Transmissions

Hey there guys and gals. As a few of you know already, we build some of the, if not the, strongest 4L60E's on the planet, and are proud to announce a site dedicated to our built transmissions.

Check out www.fbodytrans.com for information.

Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at 702-798-8504.

Thank you for you time.

That's sweet and all, but what about those of us with a T56?

You'll just have to come to the dark side and get an A4 if you want a super strong tranny I guess.

Thanks for the info! I'll save that link for future reference.

We're working on some options for you T-56 guys too, stay tuned. We make sure that these transmissions are the strongest out there before we release them, and when we are 100% sure that we have the strongest built T-56's, we'll release them as well.

Ok, lemme be subjective here.

You seem to know your stuff about building up the 4L60E. But your stage 3 is $2500

I know for a fact that Rossler, which is a largely know tranny builder, can do the same thing for $1700 and it comes with a warranty too. They're also in my state. They've been proven time and time again, and are used in some of the fastest F-Bodies in the US still running a 4L60E, and are $800 less that what you're asking.

So, in your own opinion, why should someone like myself go with your company for a rebuild? Do you offer anything over an already well-established company like Rossler?

Not trying to be an ***. But, my tranny will be prepped for racing within the next 6 months and it's time to go shopping and do some comparing. I had my mind set on Rossler. But if there's something more to go with you, then it's all in fair consideration.

Thanks

I have seen first hand the abuse that Combo's Level three's have taken.
Not only that, I have torn into a Rossler after the guys' car had an engine meltdown, was slightly unimpressed with the tranny,

I will have a Level three in my car, which will be back on the track in about a month and a half.
The legitimacy of how strong their trannies are, will showcase itself based on the abuse it will take in my car.
Until then, nothing wrong with supporting your hometown vendor.

rossler and level 10 are obviously known for holding up fairly well on the big boy's cars, what would be the fastest time a trans. for this company has successfuly made?

You cannot compare a built 4L60E to a TH-400 . Just because someone can build a TH-400 well does not mean he can build a 4L60E well. Not knocking Rossler since I have no experience with them.

He said a trans, and I pointed out a trans built by them in a 6 second car

I'm not asking for your BS input. I'm asking them, as a company, to point out why I should spend the extra $800 with them instead of a well-established transmission builder like Rossler.

Do you work for them? Do you have their tranny in your car? If not, leave your smartass comments out and let me associate myself with the appropriate info I desire.

Not your rolling eyes comments that have nothing to do with my fair and simple question

I'm sorry I didn't think it was a huge leap of logic that a thread based on the 4L60E throughout it entirety would continue in its comparisons with other 4L60E's. At any point did I debase your question to this company? No. I pointed out that you trying to compare workmanship of a TH-400 to a 4L60E was dumb. My input was far from "BS". It was a valid point. If your tranny choices are a Built TH-400 or a 4L60E you should have worded your question that way. Instead you posted a "look what he can do". Again I posted NOTHING against your question.

My posting choices are not in your control. Learn to take critisizm. Some people get upset way too easily . Uhoh that was another eye roll .

Can I get an actual answer from the person who builds the tranny?

We won't knock Rossler, they are a great company. We are confident, however, that our Level 3 is the best 4L60E money can buy. We have spent countless hours researching and testing different combinations of parts, tolerances, etc. and we are now ready to release the transmissions to the public.

When we say we torture test them, we mean it. How about a 4500lb Impala SS that makes over 800 rear wheel lb/ft of torque? If any car is going to break a tranny, it would be that monster. Sure, there are numerous F-Bodies running around making huge power with our Level 3, but nothing abuses a 4L60E like a heavy car making HUGE torque.

If you'd like to see a video, check out http://www.racingflix.com/getvideo.asp?v=188&p=2
That's the car on a dyno laying down 735rwhp, 798rwtq. Hope you like it.
