new roller rockers
Re: new roller rockers
stocks will hold up fine. But I got some harlandsharps for only 200 dollars used with 3k i think. I bought 'em just for the added reliability and a bit more solid valvetrain. If I had to pay full price, no I wouldn't have. I think dyno results on the same ratio yeilds like ~3-5 HP so the cost benefit is way off.

that is a question only you can answer. if you are looking to extract more out of what you have without using a different cam, then yes. it's the next step. i use the vinci/crane accelerated lift rockers in my car. they have given the most out of all the full roller rockers out on the market. you would need to get the 1.7 ratio, so as not get into and piston to valve clearance issues.

Depends ... If you are expecting more power by going to a higher lift rocker, you're cam will probably preclude you from doing that. Most custom cams have faster ramp rates and do not recommend the use of higher lift rockers.
Now if you are simply going to go to a full roller rocker with stock lift, just for reliablity and maybe a couple of ponies ... only you can answer that, it's your cash.
