I unwrapped it and there it was.
It seems strange though that I can move it
in the up and back motion-say 1-2 or 3-4
but not sideways say 2-3 or 4-5 or into Reverse.
Is this normal until it is installed or something
to be concerned about.

its fine......mine did that too......

 

there are springs that center it left to right, but not forward and backward. when its bolted up you will be able to move side to side.

 

i dont know if u got what hes saying......when he moves it to the side it doesnt go to the side because the way 5.0 is created it takes a lot of force to move it to side unless it is mounted

 

i think you guys get it.
I can't move it laterally in the neutral position.
I used the 2-3 shift as an example of no laternal movement although i could go forward and back.
So what I'm gathering its fine, just wanted to be sure.

Anyone know the man who was sells the padding which
reduces the noise. I think he was selling them for
a couple bucks.
