Unhappy To late to run Royal purple in the rear end?

I will just be turning 11,000 miles and I would like to run Royal purple in the rear end. Also do you have to use the limited slip additive also? And does anyone out their run Royal purple?
Thanks GODSPEED.

Thumbs up

I just changed my rear fluid to Redline, I had 60,000 miles on it, so I don't see a problem changing yours to RP. I also used the GM additive.

Royal Purple is a local product. They are kewl and all and I think as with all synthetics, they can run in the rear for the life of the rear end.. I am changing mine out as well but since it says it doesnt need the additive, I wont be using it.. just to see..
I am not using Royal Purple mainly because its hard to find here... and they are a local company (Heck, I even know people who work there!)
