Post new best,12.72 stock motor, et streets

i went 12.72 with a 1.81 60' time, definitly could have made 12.6X's if the clutch didn't f### up. i made that at 6:50 pm and it was getting cooler and on my next pass i cut a 1.77 60' time but the clutch gave up on me and i never got it to shift again.

i unhooked the front sway bar and really seemed to help weight transfer, just wouldn't want to drive it like that all the time.

Nice times! That sucks about the clutch, was it the centerforce dual friction in your sig that's giving out on you?

Haha, I'm an idiot, just read your other post about the clutch. I thought dumping my clutch at 1,800 - 2,000 rpm on these street tires was bad, and your letting it loose at 5 grand off the line, yikes! Sounds like you need a clutch from a dump truck.

yeah its the centerforce dual friction, after a few launches with the et streets and about 10 on the drag radials it has the flywheel and pressure plate so warped that i cant shift at high rpm because the disc drags.

I took it off and never put it back on. Used to it now, the SS has it still though
