New 98 Z28 car owner

I just paid a deposit on a green 98 Z28 with 60 000kms (36 000miles) with every option possible that I could see of . I checked for any misses in accelleration and it pulls strong. Braking is perfect and everything I could think of is in good order other then the tires that needs changing. I read that the LS1 motor is bad for piston slap but like every other cars I guess they all have their pitfalls. I owned a 92 Dodge Stealth for several years now but it was the 222hp model. The 3000gt and Stealths are known to be problematic too. Spun bearings, ECU caps, lifter tick, timing belt skipping, etc.... I guess no cars are perfect in my opinion but I hope I am making a good decision.

Mods lol there won't be any for a really really long while. I am 22 and I get quoted 1000$ higher on that car compared to the Stealth. I seriously hate insurance companys and I damn them to hell lol.

My insurance company saved my ***!!!!! some freaking idiot backed in to my car and took off, and someone got the license plate # for me. My insurance is in TX and I am in oregon so they found the guy here in oregon, reported him to the police. He paid for my car (which was pretty friggin expensive), and he is now riding the bus to work!! That'll teach him to F@CK with me again!!! oh yea, my point is that insurance is great!!!
