that kit is ok. but i think that it looks goofy in the front where the body get's wide, but then it gets skinny again inbetween the wheels, i personally do not like that type of look, it however would look decent if the whole body was wider, but then agin that would make the prices skyrocket....

TO EACH HIS OR HER OWN. I DON'T SEE ANY POINT IN PAYING MONEY FOR A BODY KIT THAT IS NOT FUNCTIONAL IN SOME WAY i.e. LIGHTER WEIGHT, MORE ROOM FOR WHEELS ETC. A BODY KIT FOR LOOKS ALONE IS RICE. THAT BLUE GMPP 427ci CAR HAS THE PERFECT LOOK BECAUSE THE FENDERS ARE FLARED FOR BIGGER ROLLING STOCK MAKING THE CAR LOOK LIKE A TRANS AM/IMSA STYLE RACE CAR.

I think if the fenders were flared in a more tasteful fashion, something maybe like a DTM car Then that would be bad ***, either way, you would have to remove the sheet metal on the rear and replace it somehow with the composite units.

Who cares? At least he races it and looks to improve it. It's like not it's going to get any better with someone making him feel like a pos.

As for the "C5R" Camaro... I saw it at the GM Nationals in Carlisle last weekend. Looks great in person

ROBO1219... you mind switching the "caps" off?

Body kits suck, spend the money on performance mods.

We're all entitled to our opinion. Alright, I got the figure for a carbon fiber hood, it would run about $800.

So we have $800 +/- for an SS style carbon fiber hood.

As far as the body kit is concerned, we'll need a little more time to see exactly what we're going to end up with. I'm assuming it won't be anymore than $1,000, but it will be functional. We know our cars love to breathe, so we're trying to think of a sexy look to allow it to receive more air. Be patient boys.

Put a frikin NACA duct in the front of the hood... I would think that would be the most obvious.

The stock bumper covers are already very light, so there isn't going to be much weight saved.

Just my opinion, but 99.9% of body kits end up being rice.

GTP bought me two new bumpers and skirts to modify. We're working on them as we speak. By the time everything is finished (paint and final adjustments) it should be looking good. I'd say maybe a month or so more to go. Why? We gotta send what we work on to their manufacturing company to make duplicates to sell Then we get them back and wallah.

tainted, this question is directed towards you.

IMO, my car looks just fine...no body kit for me (no matter what the price is).

Wink Wow

That Penske kit looks incredible... the curves remind me of the Jaguar XKR, and I love the curves on that thing.
