NEW 4th Gen Body Kit

Alright guys, the process has finally begun, my sponsor and me are finally working on the kit. We were talking about my car and acknowledged the fact that our cars are rather heavy... so he suggested, why not shave some lbs and make the new bumpers/skirts/hood carbon fiber?

Reason why I'm posting this is because it will be expensive... and we were curious whether or not you guys would spend the money to shave off the lbs. as well as give your car a new look. I'll be getting some estimated prices soon but let me know whether or not you guys would spend the cash to pick up some better times.

Also, let me know of any other comments or suggestions you might have.

I AM INTERESTED IN A CARBON FIBER HOOD AS LONG AS IT IS FUNCTIONAL AND WON'T FALL APART. ANYTHING THAT CAN SAVE WEIGHT OFF THE FRONT END OF THE CAR SOUNDS GOOD TO ME.

I would LOVE a carbon fiber hood. But I want the Ultra Z hood.
That hood is $695. I would gladly pay $750-825 for a carbon fiber Ultra Z hood. Can you guys make that?

I would pay up to around 1800 for a full carbon fiber kit, that is if it is designed to shave off 150 lbs or more.

Carbon fiber hood would be cool. Body kits for the nose and rear would be ricey to me. Why f*ck with a good thing. Nothing makes me laugh harder than wings and body kits. WTF

I hope you were joking. No body and hood kit could ever shave 1000 lbs. Even if you changed the doors and quarter panels, wouldn't even come close.

how much wieght can you really save going to carbon fiber? personally i dont like the look of carbon fiber except as interior trim pieces. i say leave the carbon fiber hoods to the import crowd.

Your best time in a 2000 SS is 13.96? I dont want to sound rude, but are you concentrating on things other than body weight? My STOCK time was 13.6 in the same car, and my reaction time was half as much as yours.

Mind your own business. :\ My rookie track time isn't the topic of the board here.

Well, I would argue the point that things put in your sig is everyone’s business, because you’re showing it to everyone. I would even offer advice, since your numbers seen a little off. But since it seems all that would fall on deaf ears, I’ll just wish you luck on your carbon fiber endeavor. I hope replacing half your car breaks you into the mid 13s.

Whatever dude. Please shut up and get out of my face. No need to be a **** about it either, I just said to mind your own business then you replied with another smart *** comment. I got a 13.96 new to driving stick, not to mention racing. So I would appreciate some f*cking slack. Thanks dad!

If you could reproduce this entire body package, you would have my money. It is the C5R Camaro body.

I and many others would kill for this thing.

I like the wide look, especially in the back. We won't have to worry about rolling fenders anymore. Slap some 335s on there wthout any problem. The front fascia is also killer.

If you are seriously considering building a new kit, please make this one. It will sell like mad (if priced reasonably). Remember to sell you must make the products for the customers, not all for the profit.
