I'd say an ls6 intake would be a logical next step. If you get a T/C and/or gears you'll need to get a new rear axle assembly as well. Moser makes full bolt-up rear axles with whatever gears you want, but expect to spend about $2k for the privaledge. I wouldn't really recommend a T/C without a new rear end, unless you don't race that much.

For an A4 car, a T/C will deminish your ET's more than any other single mod. Just count on upgrading your entire drive train if you don't want things to break very quickly. The 10 bolts on our cars are their achilles heel.

I say T/C, gears, then intake. I'm an M6 guy so I don't know much about the whole you need a new rear end if you want a T/C, but you will be fine with our rear if you install a set of gears. I know multiple people who have installed gears in our cars that haven't ever had a problem with the rear end busting.

Hands down the best mod for an A4 would be T/C. Just make sure you have decent tires to handle it.
